WE ARE ACTIVE IN THE COMMUNITY.
Of course, our concern extends beyond the congregation here, to embrace the wider community.
Members of our church are involved in all kinds of local initiatives:
Beacon - a local counselling service
Communicare - help with transport for those in need
The Day Centre - a weekly meal and entertainment for the elderly
SNAG - Special Needs Activity Group
The Mill - a Youth Centre in the village, supported by all the local churches
The Wellspring - Support for the homeless and needy in Stockport
to mention just a few.
At the same time we want to make a difference overseas so we support Christian Aid regularly.
